-----At Mansion House, Looking Back on the Beautiful Moments of China-UK People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges

On 27 February, a unique and engaging Spring Festival Concert was held at the iconic Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London. Young musicians from The Yehudi Menuhin School of both the United Kingdom and China gathered together, with music as a bridge, vividly demonstrating the friendly exchanges of "people-to-people bonds" between the two countries.

On the night, 40 outstanding young musicians from China and the UK performed together on stage, drawing over 250 guests in attendance. During a series of brilliant performances, music transcended cultural and national boundaries, showcasing the unique strength of the younger generation in cultural exchange and the passing on of friendship.

The concert reached its climax at the grand finale. Internationally acclaimed violinist Lü Siqing performed Summer from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons together with the youth orchestra; his passionate and dynamic performance earned prolonged applause from the audience, bringing this unforgettable evening to a brilliant close.

Institutions including the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the China UK Business Development Centre, the China-Britain Business Council, the UK-China Association, the British-China Committee, the Institute of Directors (IoD) and the IoD China Division provided crucial support for the smooth running of the event.
